中央歌劇院男中音歌唱家，國家一級演員。

    1986年以優異成績考入中央歌劇院，先后在多部世界著名歌劇中擔任主演，如：《弄臣》、《卡門》、《茶花女》、《蝴蝶夫人》、《費加羅的婚禮》、《馴悍記》及中國歌劇《馬可•波羅》等。多次與中外著名藝術家合作演出大型聲樂作品，如貝多芬《第九“合唱”交響曲》、冼星海《黃河大合唱》等，并在其中出任獨唱。還曾多次赴美國、法國、奧地利、芬蘭、日本、韓國、新加坡、馬來西亞以及港澳臺地區，演出歌劇及音樂會均得到好評。

    以其優異的演唱和卓越表演才能，被俄羅斯歌劇大師安西莫夫先生譽為“中國最杰出的歌劇演員”。

    Song Xuewei is a baritone with the Central Opera. In 1986 he was admitted to the Central Opera Theatre and has since performed in operas like Rigoletto, Carmen, La Traviata, Madam butterfly, The Marriage of Figaro, The Taming of the Shrew, and the Chinese opera Marco Polo. He has sung the baritone part in Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 many times, and was the baritone solo in a performance of the Huanghe Cantata. Song gives many performances at home. He has also given successful recitals in the United States, France, Austria, Finland, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, Macao, Taiwan and so on.

    On account of his vocal and performing techniques, he is hailed as one of the most outstanding of China’s singers of the operatic genre.
